System for reading/writing temperature sensors

Temperature-Sensor-System ==============

Sensor network system built for the nEDM experiment.

Features ------------------ - Both temperature and humidity sensors can be connected at any sensor socket. The sensor type will be automatically detected. - High temperature and humidity accuracy: Temperature sensors are calibrated to 0.1K and the humidity sensors to 1.8%rH. - A high number of connected sensors is supported. Currently 44 sensors are in use, however the system is designed to support at least 100 sensors and still be able to fulfill a sampling rate of 1Hz. If the sampling rate is…

Humidity board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Humidity board use?

The Humidity board is built around the ATMEGA88-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Humidity board?

The Humidity board measures 100 × 20 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Humidity board?

24 components, from 16 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Humidity board design files?

From the nEDM-TUM/Temperature-Sensor-System repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Humidity board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nEDM-TUM. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Humidity board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
