System for reading/writing temperature sensors

Temperature-Sensor-System ==============

Sensor network system built for the nEDM experiment.

Features ------------------ - Both temperature and humidity sensors can be connected at any sensor socket. The sensor type will be automatically detected. - High temperature and humidity accuracy: Temperature sensors are calibrated to 0.1K and the humidity sensors to 1.8%rH. - A high number of connected sensors is supported. Currently 44 sensors are in use, however the system is designed to support at least 100 sensors and still be able to fulfill a sampling rate of 1Hz. If the sampling rate is…

Order4 notent: common questions

What microcontroller does the Order4 notent use?

The Order4 notent is built around the ATMEGA88-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Order4 notent PCB?

The Order4 notent measures 137 × 65 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Order4 notent?

100 components, from 35 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Order4 notent design files?

From the nEDM-TUM/Temperature-Sensor-System repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Order4 notent design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nEDM-TUM. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Order4 notent without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
