About the Stm32-bt board

Stm32-bt board is an open source STM32 PCB design by OdaiJ, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 48 × 33 mm, with 53 components from 26 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the S9013-E, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the MIC5365-3.3YD5-TR, USBLC6-2SC6 and STM32WB55CEU6. By type, the board carries 21 capacitors, 13 resistors, 4 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 diodes and 3 inductors.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

My attempt at following the Phil's Lab KiCad V7 tutorial on YouTube

A demo board I made as a project to learn PCB design fundamentals. The board is missing some key features that make it general purpose; like headers for the unused MCU pins, however, it was a fun little project that took me a few months :)

This board was designed according to Phil's Lab's amazing videos on YouTube.

Stm32-bt board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Stm32-bt board use?

The Stm32-bt board is built around the S9013-E, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Stm32-bt board?

The Stm32-bt board measures 48 × 33 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.5842 mm thick.

How many components are on the Stm32-bt board?

53 components, from 26 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Stm32-bt board design files?

From the OdaiJ/stm32-bt-board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Stm32-bt board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with OdaiJ. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Stm32-bt board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
