About the RVPC Rev A PCB
RVPC Rev A is an open source RISC-V PCB design by OLIMEX, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 31 × 50 mm, with 23 components from 16 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the CH32V003J4M6(SOP8), from the RISC-V family. By type, the board carries 8 resistors, 1 IC, 1 transformer, 1 LED, 1 diode and 1 capacitor.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
The EURO 1.00 Risc-V personal computer with VGA and Keyboard and Woz like monitor. The purpose of this project is to make educational platform which people can use to learn RISCV assembler and experiment like in the old days in 1980s :)

RVPC Rev A: common questions
What microcontroller does the RVPC Rev A use?
The RVPC Rev A is built around the CH32V003J4M6(SOP8), from the RISC-V family.
How big is the RVPC Rev A PCB?
The RVPC Rev A measures 31 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the RVPC Rev A?
23 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the RVPC Rev A design files?
From the OLIMEX/RVPC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the RVPC Rev A design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which OLIMEX chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the RVPC Rev A without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RISC-V firmware against it before you order a PCB.
