About the Exposed power rails PCB
Exposed power rails is an open source ESP32 PCB design by OLIMEX, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 35 × 35 mm, with 37 components from 18 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-S2, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the HX6306P332MR. By type, the board carries 14 capacitors, 10 resistors, 7 ICs, 3 connectors, 2 diodes and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
The EURO 1.00 Risc-V personal computer with VGA and Keyboard and Woz like monitor. The purpose of this project is to make educational platform which people can use to learn RISCV assembler and experiment like in the old days in 1980s :)

Exposed power rails: common questions
What microcontroller does the Exposed power rails use?
The Exposed power rails is built around the ESP32-S2, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Exposed power rails PCB?
The Exposed power rails measures 35 × 35 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Exposed power rails?
37 components, from 18 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Exposed power rails design files?
From the OLIMEX/RVPC repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Exposed power rails design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which OLIMEX chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Exposed power rails without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
