About the Mk312-bt PCB
Mk312-bt is an open source ESP8266 PCB design by orgasms4worldpeace, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 30 × 17 mm, with 7 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP-01, from the ESP8266 family. Other key parts include the AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 2 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 transistor and 1 switch.
It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

Estim box plans. Use at own risk.
A drop-in replacement for the HC-05 Bluetooth module on the MK-312BT, based on the ESP8266-01S. Pin-compatible with the same Radio Header socket — the box doesn't need any change.
This is a collaboration between Rangarig and cLx, with additional code imported from timduru's branch. Upstream lives at Rangarig/MK312WIFI and is pulled into this repo as a git subtree.

Mk312-bt: common questions
What microcontroller does the Mk312-bt use?
The Mk312-bt is built around the ESP-01, from the ESP8266 family.
How big is the Mk312-bt PCB?
The Mk312-bt measures 30 × 17 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Mk312-bt?
7 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Mk312-bt design files?
From the orgasms4worldpeace/mk312-bt repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Mk312-bt design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with orgasms4worldpeace. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Mk312-bt without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
