About the Sender r3 PCB

Sender r3 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by p-keminer, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 165.5 × 125.5 mm, with 17 components from 11 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 5 connectors, 4 diodes, 1 module and 1 buzzer.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

IoT-Basis-Alarmanlage mit ESP8266-Nodes, Elegoo Uno R3, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, HMAC-SHA256-Absicherung, eigenen PCBs und 3D-gedruckten Gehäusen. // IoT basic alarm system with ESP8266 nodes, Elegoo Uno R3, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, HMAC-SHA256 security, custom PCBs, and 3D-printed housings.

Sender r3: common questions

What microcontroller does the Sender r3 use?

The Sender r3 is built around the Arduino_UNO_R3, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Sender r3 PCB?

The Sender r3 measures 165.5 × 125.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Sender r3?

17 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Sender r3 design files?

From the p-keminer/iot-alarm-system repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Sender r3 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which p-keminer chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Sender r3 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
