About the Clackade PCB
Clackade is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by parimoksha, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 61.4 × 97.9 mm, with 13 components from 4 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the XIAO-RP2040-DIP, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 4 switches, 4 diodes, 4 resistors and 1 IC.
From the project
gameby style pcb with simple games playable via 4 leds and 4 switches
1. Simon Says: memory game where a sequence is shown and you have to press the exact same one
2. Whack-a-LED: click the corresponding button to the led before the timer runs out (like Whack a Mole)
3. LED Chase: use the D-pad shaped buttons to navigate to the glowing led as fast as possible
4. Code Cracker: try to guess a randomly code like a detective
- Microcontroller: Seeed XIAO RP2040 - Buttons: 4x tactile keyboard keys - LEDs: 4x single-color (+ resistors) - Mode Switching: Long press on top button triggers the game select loop

Clackade: common questions
What microcontroller does the Clackade use?
The Clackade is built around the XIAO-RP2040-DIP, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Clackade PCB?
The Clackade measures 61.4 × 97.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Clackade?
13 components, from 4 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Clackade design files?
From the parimoksha/clackade repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Clackade design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with parimoksha. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Clackade without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
