About the Thin-Pod rev0.1 PCB

Thin-Pod rev0.1 is an open source PCB design by Pealie, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80 × 80 mm, with 21 components from 21 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ZVP2106A, S7V8F3 regulator and DWM3001CDK. By type, the board carries 7 test points, 4 ICs, 4 resistors, 3 capacitors, 1 connector and 1 fuse.

It belongs with the sensors, test & measurement and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

OSHWA-certified open-hardware vibration sensing node for measurement integrity, machine-condition monitoring and Gateway-side telemetry experiments.

Thin-Pod rev 0.1 is a compact analogue vibration-sensing carrier board intended for experimental condition-monitoring work on motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes and similar rotating machinery. The board supports an ADXL1005-based analogue accelerometer signal path and provides protected power entry, a regulated and switched sensor supply, signal conditioning, accessible test points and a mating interface for a commercially supplied Qorvo DWM3001-CDK development board.
