About the Jeelink clone PCB
Jeelink clone is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by poempelfox, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 19.5 × 50.2 mm, with 23 components from 14 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATmega328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the FT232RL. By type, the board carries 12 capacitors, 5 resistors, 3 diodes, 2 ICs and 1 crystal.
From the project
an attempt to build a clone of a certain RFM69-based USB-connected receiver
JeeLinks are transceivers with a microcontroller, that can be attached to the USB port of a PC. They were designed many years ago by JeeLabs a.k.a. Jean-Claude Wippler, and like all of the (many!) cool designs on his now sadly defunct weblog under jeelabs.org, they were completely Open-Source-Hardware - while there was a webshop where you could buy ready-made JeeLinks if you were lazy, you could also just build them yourself, or modify the designs.

Jeelink clone: common questions
What microcontroller does the Jeelink clone use?
The Jeelink clone is built around the ATmega328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Jeelink clone PCB?
The Jeelink clone measures 19.5 × 50.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Jeelink clone?
23 components, from 14 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Jeelink clone design files?
From the poempelfox/jeelink-clone repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Jeelink clone design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with poempelfox. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Jeelink clone without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
