About the Phishy WLED PCB

Phishy WLED is an open source ESP32 PCB design by Poisson48, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 103.8 × 100.7 mm, with 78 components from 20 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-WROOM-32D, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the LMR16006YQ and LM7805MP. By type, the board carries 28 resistors, 18 transistors, 17 capacitors, 6 connectors, 3 ICs and 3 switches.

From the project

A simple board to control

Phishy_WLED is a simple board to drive LED with the help of WLED software. It's based on esp32, it's fully open-source and i will probably sell some boards on etsy soon.

Phishy WLED: common questions

What microcontroller does the Phishy WLED use?

The Phishy WLED is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32D, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Phishy WLED PCB?

The Phishy WLED measures 103.8 × 100.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Phishy WLED?

78 components, from 20 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Phishy WLED design files?

From the Poisson48/Phishy_WLED repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Phishy WLED design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Poisson48. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Phishy WLED without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
