About the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 PCB
Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Prateek12code, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 353.3 × 134.7 mm, with 180 components from 12 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 97 diodes, 80 switches, 1 IC and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
Cosmoboard is my custom 75% mechanical keyboard project. It has a custom PCB, MX hot-swap sockets, RGB lighting, and a 3D printed case and plate.
Cosmoboard is my custom 75% mechanical keyboard project. It has a custom PCB, MX hot-swap sockets, RGB lighting, and a 3D printed case and plate.
I wanted it to have a clean floating-switch / open-top look, so the switches are visible instead of being hidden inside a big case.
I wanted to make my own keyboard from scratch instead of just buying and using a prebuilt one.

Cosmoboard RP2350 V1: common questions
What microcontroller does the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 use?
The Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 is built around the Raspberry_Pi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 PCB?
The Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 measures 353.3 × 134.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1?
180 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 design files?
From the Prateek12code/Cosmoboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Prateek12code. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Cosmoboard RP2350 V1 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
