About the USB-hub project PCB

USB-hub project is an open source PCB design by Qeps, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 75.4 × 134.4 mm, with 102 components from 22 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the SRV05-4. By type, the board carries 42 capacitors, 16 resistors, 12 inductors, 11 connectors, 6 ICs and 2 crystals.

It belongs with the usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

KiCAD USB hub design

Base Project (CircuitDigest) - Uses the GL850G USB 2.0 hub controller - Expands one USB port into four downstream ports - Powered directly from 5 V USB input - The controller integrates internal 3.3 V and 1.8 V regulators, no external LDO required - Basic passive components: resistors and decoupling capacitors - USB-A connectors for downstream ports and one upstream connector - Includes ESD protection (TVS diodes) for both upstream and downstream ports
