Here is shown only main part of the board:

Archive with gerber files and drill locations could be found here

There is compiled hex file in repository, that could be flashed to PCB.

To flash you can use your favorite JTAG probe and software by your choice. Or you can use default stm32 bootloader that supports uploading firmware via USB - just switch BOOT switch in direction to the USB connector.

I8080-sbc: common questions

What microcontroller does the I8080-sbc use?

The I8080-sbc is built around the STM32G4A1KEUX, from the STM32 family.

How big is the I8080-sbc PCB?

The I8080-sbc measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the I8080-sbc?

111 components, from 49 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the I8080-sbc design files?

From the quasiengineer/i8080-sbc repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the I8080-sbc design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with quasiengineer. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the I8080-sbc without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
