PCB has been designed in KiCAD and the files are available in this repository.

PCB has 2 x DC DC converters and a LiIon charger for recharging the battery.

3 x ACS1115 16 bit ADCs are used for monitoring the data.

The software has been written in C for upload via the Arduino IDE.

DataLogger: common questions

What microcontroller does the DataLogger use?

The DataLogger is built around the LINKITONE_SHIELD, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the DataLogger PCB?

The DataLogger measures 142 × 92 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the DataLogger?

117 components, from 77 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the DataLogger design files?

From the re-innovation/DataLogger repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the DataLogger design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-2.0 license, which re-innovation chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the DataLogger without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
