About the RP2040-PinTest PCB
RP2040-PinTest is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by red-scorp, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 57.2 × 53.3 mm, with 62 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Arduino_Pro_Mini_Socket_NoSPH, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the Clone_Pro_Mini_Socket_NoSPH and Arduino_Uno_R3_Shield. By type, the board carries 29 diodes, 29 resistors, 3 modules and 1 connector.
From the project
Pin Test board for Uno and ProMini boards
The RP2040-PinTest project aims to display pin function with a simple LED.
The RP2040-PinTest board is a simple 2-layer intended to test RP2040-Eins and RP2040-ProMini boards.
You can view the Schematics in PDF format for detailed information.
- Uses Uno and ProMini footprints. - Inidividual LED for each data pin.

RP2040-PinTest: common questions
What microcontroller does the RP2040-PinTest use?
The RP2040-PinTest is built around the Arduino_Pro_Mini_Socket_NoSPH, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the RP2040-PinTest PCB?
The RP2040-PinTest measures 57.2 × 53.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the RP2040-PinTest?
62 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the RP2040-PinTest design files?
From the red-scorp/RP2040-PinTest repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the RP2040-PinTest design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with red-scorp. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the RP2040-PinTest without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
