About the Breadboard PCB

Breadboard is an open source PCB design by Reon-02, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 33.8 × 55.8 mm, with 17 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the LM7805_TO220 and LM317_TO-220. By type, the board carries 7 connectors, 3 capacitors, 3 resistors, 2 ICs, 1 switch and 1 diode.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

This project is a breadboard power supply PCB designed as part of the PCB Design with KiCad - Updated for KiCad 9 Udemy course.

This project is a breadboard power supply PCB designed as part of the PCB Design with KiCad - Updated for KiCad 9 Udemy course.

The board accepts a 12 V DC input and provides regulated 5 V and 3.3 V outputs for powering breadboard-based electronic circuits.

The PCB includes voltage regulation, a power indicator LED, output selection, breadboard connectors, jumper-wire terminals, and a ground plane.

Breadboard: common questions

How big is the Breadboard PCB?

The Breadboard measures 33.8 × 55.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Breadboard?

17 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Breadboard design files?

From the Reon-02/PCB-Design-with-KiCad-Udemy repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Breadboard design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Reon-02. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
