About the Panel PCB

Panel is an open source PCB design by Retro-Fitt, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 81.6 × 93.8 mm, with 15 components from 11 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MAX3232, AMS1117-5.0 and AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 8 capacitors, 3 ICs, 2 resistors, 1 connector and 1 diode.

It belongs with the test & measurement, iot & wireless and power & battery designs in this gallery.

Protek 506 Multimeter Serial to Bluetooth Interface For PC

While i was browsing internet flea markets, stumbled upon a PROTEK 506 Multimeter which was reasonable price, purchased and repaired it. While repairing and using it i decided to design a wireless (bluetooh) interface for onboard RS232 port. It belongs to 90's according to IC's on DMM mainboard but it is still a good multimeter with unique diode function and PC connection. As you can see my multimeter has had a very tough life before...
