Repository for the RMP Panel for MobiFlight

This code and all the items are release under GPLv3.0 license. Feel free to use as you wish as long as you redistribute the source code. It would be nice a mention, though, if you use this work. I invested a good amount of hours just to make it for the amazing MobiFlight community.

This project couldn't have seen the light without the excellent work, and kind support, of GaGagu and ElRal. Their work is amazing, so please have a look at their repositories

MF RMP Panel: common questions

What microcontroller does the MF RMP Panel use?

The MF RMP Panel is built around the ATMEGA2560, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the MF RMP Panel PCB?

The MF RMP Panel measures 142 × 83 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the MF RMP Panel?

115 components, from 40 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the MF RMP Panel design files?

From the stefanofinetti/MF_RMP_Panel repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the MF RMP Panel design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which stefanofinetti chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the MF RMP Panel without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
