About the PiPowerNew PCB

PiPowerNew is an open source PCB design by stephendade, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 65 × 30 mm, with 53 components from 33 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the TPS70933DBVR, SN74LVC1G00DCKR, AP64501SP-13, STM6601CM2DDM6F and CAT24C32WI-GT3. By type, the board carries 23 capacitors, 12 resistors, 5 ICs, 4 connectors, 4 diodes and 3 transistors.

From the project

Pi-Connect Lite V2 design files

A Raspberry Pi HAT power supply board designed to power a Raspberry Pi from a wide-range DC input (7V–30V), with a push-button on/off, 2x Dronecode-compatible telemetry ports, and power protection (ESD, overcurrent, reverse voltage).

The design is based on the AP64501SP-13 DC-DC switching regulator. Based on the component selection, is capable of outputting 5.16V at 3.5A.
