Communication Subsystem for IITBSSP CubeSat Mission

This folder contains files related to the ADS.

ADS consists of two parts: 1. Sanket Deployment Board 2. Resistor Board

The Sanket Deployment Board contains the files of the main board which houses the regulators for heating nichrome. The Resistor board is a small vertical board which hold the nichrome wires and detector switches.

Resistor board: common questions

How big is the Resistor board?

The Resistor board measures 30 × 15 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Resistor board?

4 components, from 3 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Resistor board design files?

From the Student-Satellite-IITB/Communication-Subsystem repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Resistor board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Student-Satellite-IITB. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
