About the Readout 64x64 regulated PCB
Readout 64x64 regulated is an open source NXP PCB design by tactilearena, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 91.9 × 56.3 mm, with 56 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the Teensy4.1, from the NXP family. Other key parts include the 74LVC595APW, ADG732BSUZ, LM358BAIDR, AD7476ARTZ and LM2776DBVR. By type, the board carries 25 capacitors, 16 ICs, 9 resistors, 2 connectors, 1 switch and 1 diode.
From the project
Scalable high-density tactile arenas for measuring ground-contact forces in freely moving animals: hardware design files, firmware, acquisition and analysis software, and the project website.
Design files for one TactileArena module: a 64 × 64-taxel flexible-PCB sensor and its readout board. A runway uses four of each (16,384 taxels, 512 × 128 mm). Licensed under the CERN Open Hardware Licence v2, Permissive (CERN-OHL-P-2.0).
The Gerber zips are the files the boards were made from. Their copper layers and board outlines match the KiCad layouts in this folder (checked layer by layer).
