GPS tracker with SMS communication

This directory contains the hardware design files for the TheftShield_Tracker project. The project utilizes the following key components:

- STM32F401RCT6 - An ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit microcontroller from STMicroelectronics. It serves as the main control unit, handling task scheduling, communication with peripherals, and executing the application logic.

- NEO-6M - A high-performance GPS receiver module from u-blox. It provides accurate positioning data and enables tracking capabilities.

TS Tracker: common questions

What microcontroller does the TS Tracker use?

The TS Tracker is built around the STM32F401RCTx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the TS Tracker PCB?

The TS Tracker measures 48 × 50 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the TS Tracker?

69 components, from 30 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the TS Tracker design files?

From the tor1kk/TS_Tracker repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the TS Tracker design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which tor1kk chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the TS Tracker without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
