From the project

High-voltage differential probe PCB — KiCAD design

A high-voltage, active differential probe for floating measurements with selectable 10x/100x attenuation.

Input Stage (2 channels) - BNC connectors (J1, J2) - Compensated attenuator network (10x baseline, 100x with relay switching) - Protection: BAV99 diode clamps (D1, D2), SMAJ5.0A TVS (D3), 0.5A fuse (F1)

Buffer & Summing Stage - U1, U3: ADA4817-1ARDZ (1 GHz unity-gain stable op-amps, JFET input) - U2: LMH6611 (345 MHz single-supply buffer) — differential summing amplifier - Output on BNC (J3)

Differential-Probe: common questions

How big is the Differential-Probe PCB?

The Differential-Probe measures 95 × 57 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 2.63 mm thick.

How many components are on the Differential-Probe?

93 components, from 53 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Differential-Probe design files?

From the ugo-silato/Differential-Probe repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Differential-Probe design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ugo-silato. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
