About the Gamepad PCB

Gamepad is an open source PCB design by vsfteam, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 155.8 × 76.2 mm, with 100 components from 29 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74HC595, 74HC165 and ADS7830. By type, the board carries 38 resistors, 18 capacitors, 14 switches, 13 connectors, 8 diodes and 4 ICs.

From the project

Versaloon Software Framework -- a tiny preemptive-capable event-driven incremental software framework for embedded systems

Full name of VSF is "Versaloon Software Framework". VSF is an open-source software framework for embedded applications based on Apache2 license. VSF includes hal, a pre-emptive multi-thread kernel, services and components. VSF is implemented by C language with object-oriented programming methods(PLOOC).

- event-driven architecture, sleep if no event occurred, lower-power naturally - in pre-emptive mode, task switch is implemented by hardware swi(software interrupt), priority of task is the priority of the swi. - pre-emptive scheduling for tasks with different priority, collaborative…

Gamepad: common questions

How big is the Gamepad PCB?

The Gamepad measures 155.8 × 76.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Gamepad?

100 components, from 29 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Gamepad design files?

From the vsfteam/vsf repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Gamepad design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which vsfteam chose for the repository.
