About the Controller PCB
Controller is an open source PCB design by zapta, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 90 × 88.4 mm, with 40 components from 21 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the WEACT_STM32H750_MODULE, ESD5344D and CP2102N-A01-GQFN28-INTERFACE_USB. By type, the board carries 17 ICs, 9 resistors, 7 capacitors, 3 diodes, 2 connectors and 1 jumper.
From the project
A modular data acquisition system.
This plugin board contains the microcontroller that controls the system and communicates with the host PC. It is based on the WeAct Studio STM32H750 module, and future version may have the STM32H750 MCU directly on the board.
All the MCU signals are routed to the bus, to provide flexibility and future system expansion. All signals are protected against ESD using TVS diodes. Controller can be powered from the bus or from the USB port, with power arbitration using OR'ed diodes. The USB power does not power the bus to avoid overloading the host computer. The WeAct module can be soldered to the…

Controller: common questions
How big is the Controller PCB?
The Controller measures 90 × 88.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Controller?
40 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Controller design files?
From the zapta/daq repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Controller design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with zapta. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
