ESP32-based MP3 music player with OLED UI, SD card playback, and PCM5102A DAC output.
This project is a prototype ESP32 music player built around a breadboard setup using an SD card for audio files, a 0.96 inch I2C OLED for the user interface, four push buttons for control, and a PCM5102A DAC module for audio output.
The firmware is organized as a modular Arduino sketch and supports folder browsing, song selection, playback controls, volume control, and a simple OLED-based UI.

Esp32-mp3-music player: common questions
What microcontroller does the Esp32-mp3-music player use?
The Esp32-mp3-music player is built around the esp32_38_pins-custom_library, from the ESP32 family.
How many components are on the Esp32-mp3-music player?
8 components, from 8 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Esp32-mp3-music player design files?
From the 404jaspernotfound/esp32-mp3-music-player repository on GitHub, which has the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Esp32-mp3-music player design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which 404jaspernotfound chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Esp32-mp3-music player without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
