About the PowerSystem PCB

PowerSystem is an open source PCB design by Abdenry, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 43 × 20 mm, with 11 components from 3 distinct parts.

It belongs with the sensors and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

IOT Sensor Hub using RF communications between sensors

A small, portable, self-sustaining weather station built to provide data to an external web interface hosted with Grafana via a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. This station is able to collect various metrics from on board sensors such as temperature, humidity, heat index, wind speed, and wind direction. A DHT22 sensor is used to collect relative humidity and temperature metrics with an accuracy of +-2% and +-0.5C, while metrics such as wind speed and wind direction are collected with custom built sensors. The heat index is calculated in software using the DHT-sensor-library.

PowerSystem: common questions

How big is the PowerSystem PCB?

The PowerSystem measures 43 × 20 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PowerSystem?

11 components, from 3 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PowerSystem design files?

From the Abdenry/sensorHubProject repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PowerSystem design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Abdenry. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
