About the Emuprom PCB
Emuprom is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by agkaminski, published on GitHub under the CC0-1.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 88.3 × 68.6 mm, with 34 components from 14 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATMEGA8-16P, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the CY62256-70PC, 74HC244, 74HC32, 74HC373 and CH340N. By type, the board carries 13 capacitors, 11 ICs, 6 resistors and 4 connectors.

Emuprom: common questions
What microcontroller does the Emuprom use?
The Emuprom is built around the ATMEGA8-16P, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Emuprom PCB?
The Emuprom measures 88.3 × 68.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Emuprom?
34 components, from 14 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Emuprom design files?
From the agkaminski/emuprom repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Emuprom design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CC0-1.0 license, which agkaminski chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Emuprom without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
