About the Buck-Converter-5V PCB

Buck-Converter-5V is an open source PCB design by anujthakur512, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80.8 × 34.1 mm, with 14 components from 11 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the LM2596T-5. By type, the board carries 3 diodes, 3 resistors, 2 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 fuse.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

I build a Buck Converter (5V) using IC LM2596 on KiCad as my 1st project of learning PCB Designing.

A step-down (buck) converter PCB designed in KiCad, converting input voltage (e.g., 12V) down to a regulated 5V output.
