About the Axiom micro mainboard PCB

Axiom micro mainboard is an open source PCB design by apertus-open-source-cinema, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 90.9 × 90.9 mm, with 83 components from 25 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 74LVC1T45GW, BMX055, ADP150-2.8, MCP1727-1V8 and MCP1727-3V3. By type, the board carries 36 capacitors, 14 resistors, 12 connectors, 10 inductors, 6 ICs and 3 diodes.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

While deveolping code for the AXIOM Beta, we wanted to have a cheap, working development platform. This lead to the creation of the AXIOM Micro, which uses a FPGA SoC of the same family (Xilinx Zynq) but is imlemented using much lower cost components. This leads to a highly reduced overall image quality, which is quite bad for cinematography but not that important for Playing around and prototyping new ideas and concepts.
