About the Guilty devboard xrd PCB

Guilty devboard xrd is an open source Nordic nRF PCB design by askiiart, published on GitHub. It is a 6-layer board measuring 17.8 × 33.2 mm, with 55 components from 42 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the NRF54LM20A-QGAA, from the Nordic nRF family. Other key parts include the SGM40567-4.2XG, TCA9536, FH9261-G3JH and BD83070GWL-E2. By type, the board carries 20 capacitors, 14 resistors, 8 inductors, 5 ICs, 2 crystals and 2 diodes.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A high-end Xiao clone with a ton of GPIO, a focus on extremely low power draw, and uh yeah idk what else

A dev board for my keyboard, because all the options kinda suck

- Compatible with both XIAO nRF52840 Plus and nRF54LM20A - As efficient as possible - Fast battery charging (configurable ~50-700mA) and over(dis)charge protection - Up to 5V 3A from USB, and 3.3V 1A (including MCU power draw) - 27 GPIO pins, nearly as much as the XIAO nRF54LM20A, despite much more limited manufacturing capabilities, while still having an antenna built-in.

Guilty devboard xrd: common questions

What microcontroller does the Guilty devboard xrd use?

The Guilty devboard xrd is built around the NRF54LM20A-QGAA, from the Nordic nRF family.

How big is the Guilty devboard xrd PCB?

The Guilty devboard xrd measures 17.8 × 33.2 mm, has 6 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Guilty devboard xrd?

55 components, from 42 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Guilty devboard xrd design files?

From the askiiart/guilty-devboard-xrd repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Guilty devboard xrd design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with askiiart. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Guilty devboard xrd without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
