About the Bibby PCB
Bibby is an open source PCB design by austingrossman, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65 × 56 mm, with 14 components from 9 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MAX31865xAP and H11AA1. By type, the board carries 7 resistors, 3 capacitors, 2 ICs and 2 connectors.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
Controller for Brew-in-a-Bag Electric Kettle
bibby is a temperature and power controller for electric brew-in-a-bag (BIAB) brewing, running on a Raspberry Pi 5. It reads kettle temperature from a PT100 RTD, drives two mains heating elements through solid-state relays (SSRs), and presents a touch UI for setting and tracking the brew temperature. Power is delivered as a duty cycle synchronized to the AC mains zero crossing, and the whole system is built so that any fault, crash, or hang leaves the heaters off.
