About the CoryDora PCB

CoryDora is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by balub, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 89.6 × 60.1 mm, with 21 components from 5 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RP2040_ZERO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 10 switches, 9 diodes, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the keyboards and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

A simple QMK compatible 3x3 macropad.

A simple open-source, RP2040-based, QMK-compatible 3x3 mechanical macropad.

The main goal of this project is to have a cheap, easy-to-build, feature-rich numpad which is completely open source.

You can now buy the CoryDora yourself at the Absurd Store. Onboarding instructions are available here. Full build guide is available here.

- Easy to source and build components. - Hot swappable keys. - QMK compatible. - OLED 0.91" screen. - At least 1 rotary encoder - Completely open-source.

CoryDora: common questions

What microcontroller does the CoryDora use?

The CoryDora is built around the RP2040_ZERO, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the CoryDora PCB?

The CoryDora measures 89.6 × 60.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the CoryDora?

21 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the CoryDora design files?

From the balub/CoryDora repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the CoryDora design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the CoryDora without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
