From the project

Custom PCB and code to measure 6 axis acceleration, pressure, temperature and humidity and store on an micro-SD card for a rocket or equivalent. Can also play a song through an external speaker by streaming from the SD card.

Exclaimer: Component libraries only usable on KiCAD 9!

Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics: common questions

What microcontroller does the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics use?

The Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics is built around the C2980299, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics PCB?

The Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics measures 26 × 63 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics?

41 components, from 22 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics design files?

From the BarneyRye/Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BarneyRye. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Seadream-Rocketry-Avionics without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
