About the Jrgbwww24 PCB
Jrgbwww24 is an open source ESP8266 PCB design by BrianLeishman, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 85 × 56 mm, with 31 components from 19 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the esp8266, from the ESP8266 family. Other key parts include the TL2575. By type, the board carries 10 transistors, 8 resistors, 4 diodes, 3 connectors, 2 ICs and 2 capacitors.
It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.
From the project
The "J" stands for "Jeet" - esp8266 board for controlling RGB W WW 24V LEDs
This PCB is designed to take esp8266 NodeMCU boards and allow them to control 24V LED strips that have RGB, cool white, and warm white LEDs.
This board is also designed to power the esp8266 board with 5V, so no USB connection is needed. Another cool feature is that this board has a 5V fan header (like a computer motherboard would), so you can plug in a fan like this Noctua one in case some cooling is needed.

Jrgbwww24: common questions
What microcontroller does the Jrgbwww24 use?
The Jrgbwww24 is built around the esp8266, from the ESP8266 family.
How big is the Jrgbwww24 PCB?
The Jrgbwww24 measures 85 × 56 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Jrgbwww24?
31 components, from 19 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Jrgbwww24 design files?
From the BrianLeishman/jrgbwww24 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Jrgbwww24 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BrianLeishman. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Jrgbwww24 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
