Repository for the storage and dissemination of NN22 technical documents

All detector related files are located within this folder.

Two versions of the backplane are available, the 6 layer and single layer. The 6 layer folder contains the files for the full height backplane to allow for up to 6 detector interface cards to be connected and the single layer folder contains the files for the system configuration with only one interface card per backboard slot.

Flex-VEMD: common questions

How big is the Flex-VEMD PCB?

The Flex-VEMD measures 360 × 8.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Flex-VEMD?

4 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Flex-VEMD design files?

From the BUNPC/NN22-Technical-Documents repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Flex-VEMD design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BUNPC. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
