This is a splitter board designed to be plug-compatible with the TIGRIS one. See top-level README for some more details.

Connector from readout system is a Samtec SHF-117-01-L-D-SM shrouded 34-pin header with 0.05" pitch.

Detector connector is Samtec SFMC-118-02-S-D 36-pin socket strip with 0.05" pitch. Note that the TIGRIS schematic and layout use mirrored pinout for the detector connector (odd-even swap).

Readout splitter: common questions

How big is the Readout splitter PCB?

The Readout splitter measures 34.5 × 34.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6002 mm thick.

How many components are on the Readout splitter?

86 components, from 21 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Readout splitter design files?

From the BUNPC/NN22-Technical-Documents repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Readout splitter design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BUNPC. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
