About the Frameortho PCB
Frameortho is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by chinh4, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 226 × 105 mm, with 67 components from 12 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the CY7C65634-28LTXC, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the W25Q128JVS and XC6206PxxxMR. By type, the board carries 36 diodes, 18 capacitors, 7 resistors, 3 ICs, 2 switches and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.
From the project
An ergonomic framework mod.
An ergonomic laptop based off of the framework 13, based off of the concept by the Evan and Katelyn youtube channel. It will feature a keyboard based on the ferris sweep (though modified), and an adjustable display.
images that look somewhat nice hopefully
Put it together and enjoy... its pretty self explanatory. You can pivot the screen however you wish, as long as the cables reach.

Frameortho: common questions
What microcontroller does the Frameortho use?
The Frameortho is built around the CY7C65634-28LTXC, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Frameortho PCB?
The Frameortho measures 226 × 105 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Frameortho?
67 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Frameortho design files?
From the chinh4/frameergo repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Frameortho design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with chinh4. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Frameortho without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
