About the ANUFS-APPPD PCB

ANUFS-APPPD is an open source STM32 PCB design by chithigun23, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 58.9 × 48.4 mm, with 99 components from 47 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F072CBTx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the AP2112K-3.3, USBLC6-2SC6, TCAN337, TLV9062xD and LMR33610ADDAR. By type, the board carries 30 resistors, 27 capacitors, 12 diodes, 9 test points, 7 ICs and 4 connectors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

An update to the Accelerator Pedal Position Plausibility Device to remain compliant with the use of a paddle shift system.

Accelerator pedal position (APPS) and throttle position (TPS) sensor interface for the ANUFS vehicle, with dual-redundant sensing, ignition/electronic-throttle-body kill-switch control, and CAN reporting. A single 8-pin harness connector carries power in, both raw sensor pairs, and the two kill lines out.

- Power - the LV battery feed arrives on the shared harness connector, passes through an ideal-diode PFET (Zener-biased) for reverse-polarity/surge protection, and feeds U6 (LMR33610), which bucks it to 5V. That 5V is diode-ORed with USB-C VBUS onto a single fused node that only ever feeds…

ANUFS-APPPD: common questions

What microcontroller does the ANUFS-APPPD use?

The ANUFS-APPPD is built around the STM32F072CBTx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the ANUFS-APPPD PCB?

The ANUFS-APPPD measures 58.9 × 48.4 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the ANUFS-APPPD?

99 components, from 47 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the ANUFS-APPPD design files?

From the chithigun23/ANUFS-APPPD repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the ANUFS-APPPD design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with chithigun23. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the ANUFS-APPPD without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
