About the Souffle v2 PCB

Souffle v2 is an open source PCB design by climent, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 137.2 × 109.3 mm, with 81 components from 12 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ProMicro. By type, the board carries 31 switches, 30 diodes, 8 jumpers, 3 connectors and 1 IC.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

From the project

Soufflé v2 is 6×4+1+4+1 keys column-staggered split keyboard with encoder, OLED, and palm key support. It is an evolution of the Soufflé V1 and VR keyboard, with a slightly more aggressive arrangement of the pinkie columns.

Soufflé V2 was created by Jesus Climent.

Pinkie columns have been lowered ~5mm, to make them more accessible. Thumb cluster repositioned, to make the keys slightly more accessible. It is now possible to use switches in the position of the 2x rotary encoders. Curved contour of the plates.
