About the Meshgw hat

Meshgw hat is an open source PCB design by d3athstr, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65 × 56 mm, with 5 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the E22-900M30S. By type, the board carries 3 capacitors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the rf & radio, iot & wireless and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

Wired Pi + 1W SX1262 LoRa gateway (meshtasticd) bridging the Empire12 / Techtaria mesh to the internet. PRIVATE: contains home coordinates.

Wired-Ethernet Raspberry Pi + 1 W SX1262 LoRa gateway running meshtasticd. Bridges the Empire12 / Techtaria LoRa mesh to the internet over MQTT, and publishes E12-owned nodes only to the public Meshtastic map directories.

PartsBin project [18]. Status: DEPLOYED AND LIVE 2026-09-09. The HAT is populated, the Pi is wired and provisioned, and the node is on the mesh with the MQTT bridge connected.
