About the Neoboard PCB
Neoboard is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by dhyans26, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 74 components from 8 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the XIAO-RP2040-DIP, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 64 diodes, 5 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 connector, 1 speaker and 1 switch.
It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.

I made this project as LEDs are fun and Neopixels sit right on the board in a flush, neat way. I wanted a project that can sit on my desk and look cool while being fun and interactive. I started PixelDust but didn't come close to finishing, and figured- why not work on a matrix when waiting for my HackPad (v2) and Solder PCB to ship

Neoboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Neoboard use?
The Neoboard is built around the XIAO-RP2040-DIP, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Neoboard PCB?
The Neoboard measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Neoboard?
74 components, from 8 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Neoboard design files?
From the dhyans26/neoboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Neoboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with dhyans26. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Neoboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
