About the ZBox PCB
ZBox is an open source PCB design by dkej123, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 58 × 64.5 mm, with 19 components from 18 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the STEPUP_MT3608. By type, the board carries 9 connectors, 6 resistors, 2 transistors, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.
It belongs with the audio, iot & wireless and power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
Offline-first ESP32 NFC audio box with local MP3 playback, LEDs, web admin, PCB and 3D-printable enclosure.
zBox is an offline-first ESP32 NFC audio box: tap a card to play an MP3 from microSD, use four physical buttons for playback and modes, and manage music and mappings from a small FastAPI web portal. Wi-Fi is needed only for provisioning, synchronization, and maintenance.
