The original inspiration for this project came from Reddit user "Maclsk" on the subreddit /r/specializedtools, link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/specializedtools/comments/78wd32/imadeaspecializedtoolforcutting_wire/ Our goal is to create a similar device with autostripping for our workplace.

AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper: common questions
What microcontroller does the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper use?
The AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper is built around the ATMEGA328P-AU, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper PCB?
The AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper measures 59.7 × 38.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper?
16 components, from 16 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper design files?
From the dnatov/AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with dnatov. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the AutoWire-Cutter-Stripper without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
