Please note: please run kicad from the same directory as the .kicad_pro file is stored because the fp-lib-table and sym-lib-table use relative paths so that this project is portable between computers.

When using the programmer, first program the fuses to match the Arduino fuses.

Then you can open the Arduino IDE and flash the bootloader with the following commands

DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity: common questions

What microcontroller does the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity use?

The DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity is built around the ATmega328P-P, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity PCB?

The DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity measures 145.3 × 221.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity?

54 components, from 24 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity design files?

From the eggsactly/DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with eggsactly. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the DC-34-Countdown-To-Singularity without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
