About the Sequencer PCB

Sequencer is an open source PCB design by elandahl, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 61.9 × 108.7 mm, with 65 components from 16 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 555N and 4017. By type, the board carries 26 diodes, 13 resistors, 9 capacitors, 5 connectors and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Analog Electronics course featuring Eurorack modular synth project

This Eurorack-compatible module implements an ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope generator using a TLC555 CMOS timer, op-amps, discrete transistors, and a shaping network of resistors, capacitors, and diodes. When triggered by a gate signal, it produces a control voltage that follows a classic ADSR shape used to control VCAs, filters, or pitch over time in a modular synthesizer.

Sequencer: common questions

How big is the Sequencer PCB?

The Sequencer measures 61.9 × 108.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Sequencer?

65 components, from 16 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Sequencer design files?

From the elandahl/eurorack-course repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Sequencer design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with elandahl. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
