About the Gh80-3003 PCB

Gh80-3003 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by evyd13, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 444.1 × 151.2 mm, with 276 components from 29 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATMEGA32U4, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the SRV05-4. By type, the board carries 130 relays, 114 diodes, 8 capacitors, 7 inductors, 7 resistors and 5 connectors.

Gerber, BOM and CPL file for jlcpcb assembly are included. They have been tested and confirmed working, but I can not guarantee that jlcpcb will not make any breaking changes. jlcpcb stocks might change, parts could go EOL. Compare MCU/diode/SRV05 rotation before ordering, to be sure.

If you order a small batch and sell the unneeded ones, please keep the license in mind.

Gh80-3003: common questions

What microcontroller does the Gh80-3003 use?

The Gh80-3003 is built around the ATMEGA32U4, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Gh80-3003 PCB?

The Gh80-3003 measures 444.1 × 151.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Gh80-3003?

276 components, from 29 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Gh80-3003 design files?

From the evyd13/gh80-series repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Gh80-3003 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-SA-4.0 license, which evyd13 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Gh80-3003 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
