It belongs with the iot & wireless and test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

EQ is a Wifi enabled 2ft linear grow light. The light spectrum and on/off schedule can be customized for specific plant species by programming the 3-band LED module. A durable powder-coated heat sink ensures long lasting performance in demanding environments, while the beautiful walnut trim allows EQ to blend seamlessly into your home decor.

3 channel led driver rev0.4: common questions

What microcontroller does the 3 channel led driver rev0.4 use?

The 3 channel led driver rev0.4 is built around the ESP8266-12E, from the ESP8266 family.

How big is the 3 channel led driver rev0.4 PCB?

The 3 channel led driver rev0.4 measures 121.9 × 25.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the 3 channel led driver rev0.4?

76 components, from 25 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the 3 channel led driver rev0.4 design files?

From the Faust-Lighting/Horticulture_Light_EQ_3-Band repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the 3 channel led driver rev0.4 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which Faust-Lighting chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the 3 channel led driver rev0.4 without the hardware?
