About the PCB Projet ESE v2

PCB Projet ESE v2 is an open source STM32 PCB design by FernandesVincent, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 52 × 52 mm, with 86 components from 47 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32G474RETx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the ZXBM5210-SP-13 and ADXL343BCCZ-RL. By type, the board carries 44 capacitors, 15 resistors, 12 ICs, 6 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 switches.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

PCB Projet ESE v2: common questions

What microcontroller does the PCB Projet ESE v2 use?

The PCB Projet ESE v2 is built around the STM32G474RETx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the PCB Projet ESE v2?

The PCB Projet ESE v2 measures 52 × 52 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PCB Projet ESE v2?

86 components, from 47 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PCB Projet ESE v2 design files?

From the FernandesVincent/Projet-ESE-chat-robot repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PCB Projet ESE v2 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with FernandesVincent. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the PCB Projet ESE v2 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
